UK

- The Rosenblatt Recital Series is a series of recitals by both up and coming and established singers.

- English Touring Opera are touring their production of Donizetti's Pia de' Tolomei until June 3 

- The Royal Opera are staging a new production of Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, April 7 - May 19 with Damrau and Kurzak scheduled to sing the lead role. See here for Katie Mitchell discussing the production.

- Opera Rara and the BBC will be giving a concert performance of Rossini's Semiramide at the BBC Proms on September 4. .

- The Buxton Festival is staging Beethoven's Leonore and Bellini's I Capuleti e I Montecchi, July 8 - 24.

 

Ireland

 - The Wexford Festival (October 26 - November 6) will include David's Hurculanum and Donizetti's Maria de Rudenz and Il Campanello.
