Below are productions that may not feature on the above general sites, while some are repeated because of their rarity or to give additional information.   Note that some productions may be amateur, semi-professional, student or touring groups and may use an abridged, native language or reduced version of the opera. The details below are given in good faith. Please confirm details and times, as changes or cancellations do happen.

UK

- The Rosenblatt Recital Series, usually at St John's Smith Square, London, is a series of recitals, by both up and coming and established singers.  Currently scheduled are Joel Prieto & Sara Hershkowitz (March 17), Lawrence Brownlee (May 25)  .

- Riverside Opera are performing The Elixir of Love at Stoke D'Abernon (March 20) and Epsom (March 26 & 27)

- English Touring Opera's Spring tour starts March 8, 2010 and will include Donizetti's Don Pasquale.

- Chelsea Opera Group are planning Rossini's William Tell on Sunday, May 23 at the Queen Elizabeth's Hall. Majella Cullagh sings Mathilde.

- The Royal Opera House is reviving its much acclaimed production of Donizetti's La Fille du Regiment with Dessay and Flórez (and Lee), May 17 - June 3  

- Opera North plan Donizetti's Maria Stuarda, June 4 - July 3, 2010, starting in Leeds and then touring.

- Garsington Opera are planning Rossini's Armida from June 5 - 29.

- The 2010 Buxton Festival is planning Verdi's Louisa Miller, Cornelius's The Barber of Baghdad and a concert performance of the Richard Strauss edition of Mozart's Idomeneo.

- Rossini's  Aureliano in Palmira at the Royal Festival Hall on October 23.  Concert performance in association with an Opera Rara recording.

- Guildford Opera are planning Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, November 10-13 at the Electric Theatre, Guildford.

  2011

- Chelsea Opera Group are planning a concert version of Donizetti's Belisario with Nelly Miricioiu, conducted by Richard Bonynge at the Queen Elizabeth's Hall, London on Sunday, February 13, 2011.

Argentina

- Buenos Aires Lirica are performing Donizetti,  Belisario, July 16 - 24.

Belgium

- Bellini, Norma, with Gruberova at La Monnaie, Brussels, from March 27, 2010.

- Donizetti, Rita and Il campanello, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Liège, May 7 - 15, 2010. The Opéra Royal de Wallonie will be streaming the May 11 performance, see http://www.operalive.org/en/opera-live/ .

Denmark

- The Danish Bel Canto Society  puts on a regular series of concerts of both song and opera.

France

- L'Opéra de Toulon plan Donizetti's Don Pasquale (April 20-25, 2010)

Germany

- Bellini Il puritani from September 27 and Donizetti, Dom Sebastian, Nurnberg Staatsoper, from October 31 (German version)

- Donizetti, L'elisir d'amore, Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich , from December 1, 2009

- The Nationaltheater, Mannheim plan concert performances with Gruberova of Donizetti Roberto Devereux (no date yet)

- Mayr,  Il ritorno d'Ulisse, Theater, Regensburg, from February 6, 2010.

- Nurnberg Staatsoper plan Rossini's Moses und Pharao from January 30 and Donizetti's Emilia di Liverpool from March 27 and Verdi's Nabucco from May 29.

- Samaras, Die Märtyrerin (La Martire)  , concert version, Opera House, Wuppertal, April 25th.

- Mayr, Medea in Corinto, Bayerische Staatsoper, Munich , from June 7, 2010.

- Donizetti, Lucrezia Borgia, Staatsoper, Dresden , concert performance with Gruberova from June 12, 2010. Also, according to the Gruberova fan page http://www.gruberova.com/sched.htm  performances in Cologne and Dortmund.

- Bellini, Norma concert performance with Bartoli at the Konzerthaus, Dortmund on June 29 and July 1, 2010.  On June 19, 2010 she is singing a concert of 18th century music in Dortmund.

- The 2010 Wildbad Festival will include performances of  Rossini's Le Siège de Corinthe and La Cenerentola and Generali's Adelina.

- Mayr's Lodoiska is planned in Ingolstadt on September 24 (concert performance)

Greece

Unfortunately the Greek National Opera have cancelled their planned performances of Donizetti's Emilia di Liverpool and Bellini's Il pirata.

Ireland

- Opera Ireland plan performances of  Bellini's I Capuletti e I Montecchi on  March 4 and 6, 2010 (concert performances)  and Gounod's Romeo and Juliet February 27 - March 7.

- The Wexford Festival plans Mercadante's Virginia, October 16-30.  See www.wexfordopera.com/programme/

Italy

- Donizetti’s L’ajo nell’imbarazzo, Teatro dei Differenti, Barga (Tuscany),  Thu.13 and Fri.15 May 2010 at 9pm. International Academy of Voice at Cardiff University in collaboration with Opera Barga. - Donizetti’s Gianni di Parigi, 36° Festival della Valle D'Itria , Palazzo Ducale,  Martina Franca, July 18 and 20,  2010 at 9 pm

Netherlands

 - Der Nederlandse Opera will include Donizetti L'elisir d'amore from October 29 through to July 11, 2010 (link includes video clip). They also plan Verdi's  Les vêpres siciliennes  from September 10 through to October 3.

- Radio 4 has a series of operas in concert planned at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam see here. They include Donizetti's Caterina Cornaro on March 20, 2010 with Miricioiu.  

- The Nationale Reisopera, Enschede, is planning Rossini's La Cenerentola, March 20 - April 17, 2010 and Donizetti's Don Pasquale in November/December 2010.

Romania

- The Opera Nationala Bucuresti are performing Donizetti's Gemma di Vergy (concert version) from November 10 in Bucharest.  They are also performing Don Pasquale from November 7 and Lucia di Lammermoor from November 26.

Russia

- Helikon Opera, Moscow are planning a concert performance of Bellini's Norma on  May 25 and staged performances of Donizetti's Rita, June 11 -13.

Slovakia

- Hummel's Mathilde de Guise at the Slovak National Theatre, Bratislava,  starting January 24.

South Africa

- Capetown Opera, Capetown are performing Rossini's Il Viaggio a Reims , May 9 - 15 and Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor , October 16 - 27.

Switzerland

- Verdi,  Alzira from January 30 - May 15, 2010 and Donizetti, Il diluvio universale, June 25 - July 9, 2010, Theatre St Gallen.

USA

- The Metropolitan Opera  season  includes Rossini's Armida with Fleming and La barbiere di Siviglia, Donizetti's La Fille du régiment, Thomas Hamlet and  Verdi's Attila and Stiffelio.

- Dallas Opera's season includes Donizetti's Don Pasquale, February 19 - March 10, 2010.

- Donizetti Rita at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst on April 10, 2010 at 5:00pm in Bowker Auditorium. Details yet to be posted.

- Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor, Green Mountain Opera Festival,  Vermont, June 17-20.

- The Caramoor festival, New York, June 26 - August 8, will include Bellini's Norma and Donizetti's Maria di Rohan.

- The Lake George Opera Festival, Saratoga are performing Donizetti's Viva la Mamma (Le Convenienze ed Inconvenienze Teatrali), July 9 - 17.

2011

- Minnesota Opera plan to perform Donizetti's Mary Stuart, January 29 - February 6, 2011 with Brenda Harris, Judith Howarth and Eric Cutler.  Anne Boleyn is planned for the season after.

- Opera Boston are planning Donizetti's Maria Padilla, May 6 - 10, 2011 with Barbara Quintiliani.
