Rossini's La donna del lago
Minnesota Opera/New York City Opera production, September 2006
September 23, 26, 28, 30 and October 1, 2006 at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Minneapolis. The same production is due to be staged by the New York City Opera from March 22 to April 7, 2007 with a largely different cast.

Minnesota Opera continued its practice of including a rare bel canto opera in its season with Rossini's La donna del lago. The voices impressed the Star Tribune rather more than the staging.
The cast included Elena: Maureen O'Flynn, Malcolm: Ewa Podles, Uberto/Giacomo V: Barry Banks, Rodrigo: Yeghishe Manucharyan. The conductor was Robert Wood, the director Chas Rader-Schieber and the designers were David Zinn and Leonore Doxsee.
